You are SO CLOSSSEEE!!! Gosh, does it feel the last few miles of a long road trip? The ones that seem to take the longest?

She's going to be so solid when she goes back in the water. I'm excited for you.

I love Steadfast’s smile, close her up though. You can always paint a smile on her, ha ha.

I’ve been really busy on Island Grace but seeing the light this week. Maybe get you two out for a cocktail 😎

One of Mom's favorites, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger-'- we ALL have these uninvited challenges and as strong, beautiful women we rise to them....so glad our paths have crossed!! So glad. ~J

The September 2024 photo and now is nearly unbelievable! You got so much work done on her! Congratulations. And three more boards! Easy-speasy (or is that just a landlubber, non-carpenter saying that)? I salute you guys! Onward!!!!!

I think I was saying "just" for months and then I gave in to the fact that it all takes 4x longer than I ever imagined and takes lots of tools, grit and USD. But we have come a long way, baby! And thank you for appreciating that. Xx

Oh I certainly do. Paul built a house for us w/ one carpenter after he first retired before MX and one really appreciates how long everything takes! The architect was really cool, we were all so suited for each other; he designed it so that every board in the house including the huge beams they sandwiched for the ceiling, could be picked up by 2 men. Paul's always been a carpenter, plumber, electrician in spare time at old houses he'd buy, fix up. He also had a 30 ft Coronado years ago. Think he still yearns for the high seas.

Thank you, Janice. You inspire me to keep plugging along on my thousands of projects.

But then what, if I finish? Confucius says, “the man who finishes his house dies.”

Be careful, be very careful.
