I like an the inside look at creative spirits—their processes and lifestyles. Keith Richards' LIFE remains a fav. Looking forward to this one.

I learned so much while writing this spirit's story! From the unsung heroes of the counterculture music to locales to venues to....heroin slang ! It was an eye-opening journey for me and I hope it is for you. So appreciate your interest and support. We'll put it out to Jerry's millions of social media fans soon. No idea if it will go or not. We never do, as authors, do we, Tim? ~J

I'm not a Deadhead, but I'm super intrigued by this story! There is nothing better than a good memoir & this one sounds fascinating! I'll message you about getting a copy. 💙

Congratulations, JA! How fabulous! Will get a copy for sure. What a coup, to have his personal story told to you, only you, personally! I do not know where you find the time!!

Your enthusiasm rejuvenated my own, Jeanine, so there is that important thing! I think I was just in the right place when he was thinking, maybe I should tell this, after a tiny bit of prodding I was just-- well, geez, I can't imagine NOT telling this story! It's your era in your state, so maybe some things will ring a few bells. It must have been some incredible times in the Bay area. And then you left, right? ~J

Oh boy, I still love San Francisco! I spent a good part of my adult life in that beautiful city and it's where I met Paul, too. The music scene, even if you were out in rural areas, you'd drive to the city and grab a concert, see a band. NorCal is just the best. Fillmore West, Bill Graham (RIP) bringing in Joplin and the Dead and like everybody. It will be a fun trip down memory lane. Again, kudos for writing this and getting it out there. Great job!!!!! Wishing you and 'Jimmy' all the best with this!!

Is there anything you don’t go after with all your heart and soul?

Do I remind you of you?? I hope so and if we could ever meet face to face that would be a laugh and joy and well, you get it.

I had a spirited young lady invite herself onto my boat the other day and her enthusiasm was contagious and awesome and so she said "HOW DID YOU GET HERE?!" which is a really long story, as you know, Switter. So I said, well, just say YES to everything and then if you don't like it, go in another direction, but always say YES. She thought long and hard, so....

You know this music ---it might be worth a read....

I hope she does, as we have. Thanks for this! ~J

It may go without saying, but I hope you are as stinking proud of yourself as those of us who know you! The vision and tenacity it takes to pull this off are not something everyone can summon. And hey -- you and Jimmy crossed paths for reason, right?

Excited to see the real deal, and to be able to say, "I know the talented writer of this amazing book." Huzzah!

I'm not sure you could have made my day any better, Miss Elizabeth, I did not expect such tingling enthusiasm and I am SO SO pleased. This project has been back-burner as I truly thought I could sell it to an agent; honestly now that we have this hot little number in our hands, it's grass roots and I feel confident that when people read his story they will share it and pass it on. I call it the last puzzle piece of Jerry Garcia's incredible life-- and that's only a small part of who Jimmy connected with, I learned a tremendous, humbling amount writing the story and making it what I hope is a serious page-turner. I look forward to hearing what you think. Thank you again. ~J

I heard you were dancing your heart out to much of the music that is mentioned in this story, Miss Debby! Thank you for your support, truly appreciated and can't wait to hear what you think of my telling of his story. ~J

I loved the way this was told. You did a great job as always. What a life Jimmy lived. So glad he lived to tell his story. Definitely a different time. If anyone sees this comment Buy this book.

DELIGHTED!! I call it a lost puzzle peace to the counterculture and Jerry's giant world, which has been documented tremendously. This is a new perspective, and I would certainly appreciate your honest opinion, if you are so inclined. Thank you. ~J
