What an accomplishment! You're actually 'boating' now! Big congratulations on the awards you were bestowed with at the boat show! As for dolphins, even after several decades of crewing on sailboats, I still go out to the bow when there are dolphins! And now that I have worked on the whale research vessel, Odyssey, I can identify several different species and also know their scientific names as well! Alas, I would love to come up to your grand soiree, but I have dermatology appointments on the 9th! (that I keep putting off when sailing opportunities come up!).
I knew you would be busy but had to invite you seastar. Can I use that? I love it but if it's just for you and Sandy all good. Wish you could be here. We're here most of the summer.
So, an inquiry.. Would you do some JIMMY marketing since you did so much amazing research???!! We had some social media ads created and I think they're good!.
With awareness that you've not experienced childbirth, believe me when I tell you that this is about the closest thing to it I've come across (but thank the stars pregnancy doesn't last two years!). The work of getting her to this point, and then the realization, now that it's done, that it was all so worth it. All the frustration and fear, all the physically painful work, worth it! And everything in your watery presence is there to lift you up in shared joy.
I talk to critters, too, and feel the sparkle of connection when they appear to talk back. 🐬
Ah, interesting, motherhood and nurturing in their purest forms? Of course I would not have correlated and am intrigued and pleased that you did, Elizabeth!
And those critters? Oh, they know. They know (except the ants!) that you're respecting both their space and their spirit. Always so pleasing when you peruse and share my work. Thank you! ~J
Superb! And thank you. We'll do some touring for sure.
Any progress on you assisting in saving the beautiful vessel(s) that are our neighbors? So many folks inquire about SEQUOIA. You can watch her diminish over the years, of course.
Hope all your endeavors continue to go beautifully. Look forward to seeing you, Ryan. ~J
No exaggeration on the blood, sweat and tears, eh? I think the highest highs and the lowest lows make it all worthwhile, somehow...you know. And such a worthy goal. And yes, there's always something to fix even if you just fixed something. Thank you for your inquiry and I'll get back to you with some thoughts, I'm honored! ~J
Thanks Janice! Not a bit of exaggeration - there are buckets of all three on this boat, as I'm sure there are on yours. And I appreciate your consideration - very much.
RIGHT??!!??!! Deep breathing, the eyes tear just a tad, and here we are. I'm so pleased to have you aboard, Scott. Some very meaningful words were exchanged and pondered. I'm grateful. ~J
Congratulations again…this time for a special award! It has to be such a wonderful feeling being able to live your life on the water again & experience nature and its beauties and all the forms of life and the magical sounds & images it offers.♥️
I am fortunate to have been introduced to this life; it is most certainly not one that I had ever imagined, even though I've always loved and craved the water/waterside places/SCUBA even. Thank you for all your enthusiasm and support, it has been uplifting all along. Now we get to slow down a little and enjoy here and there. The project list is still impressive....! Stay aboard ! ~J
Thanks for staying John! What a pleasure to have a water-lover and appreciator such as yourself. It is a precious commodity, in all forms, in so many ways. Thank you for teaching me other aspects, I appreciate that! ~J
So glad to see you're finally enjoying the water after all that back-breaking, nail-tearing work. Most of it is behind you now--knowing a sailor's work is never done--and I love that you can stop and observe the life going on around you. Can't wait to share your new adventures ahead. I get kind of seasick so vicariously is fine. 😏
Grateful to you, Mona for your support...and yes there is still a list of to-dos, and always will be with the choice we made. Instead of mowing the lawn and weeding the flowerbeds, we varnish and change the oil. I am incredibly relieved to have that monster behind me. Thanks so much for staying aboard, it's not always easy for sure, I am a sea-sick sailor myself, although I have learned to control it for the most part. Every once in a while Mother Nature wins the SPAR and I succumb....~J
They do bring a wave of emotion that is overwhelming to me, too. I so appreciate them sharing themselves, and they always, always look up and connect. Truly Mother Nature sharing her gifts with humans who so.often don't pay attention or respect such wisdom. Thanks for that expansive commentary, Prue. Much appreciated. ~J
Dolphins! I cry when I see them - happy tears because they look at you with the wisdom of millenia (like my pup) and they're such joyous creatures - filled with the love of life. Beautiful.

She looks SO much different than when you saw her a year ago!!!
She absolutely looks different. In a good way. 😝

Congratulations on your latest accolades!!
She's sure to win hearts, admiration and awards up and down the coast and islands.
I can't be there for 7/11 but will be in the area shortly thereafter and will surely reach out!

Congrats too on the awards. Justified, I'd say.
